I heard a Radio ad for $2000 in free groceries. I called and asked tons of questions, thinking it was to good to be true. The woman explained to me that i would get certificates in the mail for $2,000 in free groceries and the shipping & handling was $19.95. I asked how big the package was to be $19.95 for shipping. She said she had never seen the package so she didn't know. I asked what values the certificates were and she said they will be anywhere from $5-$50. And that the certificates wouldn't be brand limited. She said for instance. "You can purchase several different brands of beverages and you can use our certificate to get $5-50 dollars off your entire beverage purchase. "She also said this was for a survey to see what brands people are buying. After agreeing to pay the $19.95 she explained 3 different money savers deals. I told her i didnt want to be enrolled in any of them and she asked if she could just "send me" the information. So i said sure. Little did i know when i called the programs i was enrolled in a trail period for all of them and if i didnt cancel i would be billed a membership fee. NOT ONLY THAT but i asked her if she would be sharing any of this information with anyone else because she asked for my number address CC number and such. She said No we have a privacy policy and we do not share this info with anyone. I was under the impression that she "grocery advantage" would be sending me info on the other 3 money saving programs. The next day i got a call from someone with budget savers saying the just needed to confirm some information with me. Confirming my CC number and address adn such then i got hit with 3 more money saving deals. I told him that i wanted nothing he has and DO NOT send me anything. Now today i have just received my grocery advantage "package" which is just a envelope with 1 normal postage stamp on it. With info to login in online. Which my login doesnt work and as I read these comments i believe I have also been scammed. This is messed up that 103.1 in huntsville would advertise such a thing.
