Miscellaneous

I received a call asking me to complete a political survey which would take 30 sec and if I agreed to take it I would win a free 2 day Caribbean Cruise to Grand Bahama Island. The survey was three questions that didn't seem to make sense anyway I went along and was put on hold then was told about the free cruise. I wasn't convienced by the guy who was trying to sell this trip. He didn't seem to know much about it and I know cruise lines will train there staff. Then the moment came when MIKE told me my FREE trip was no longer FREE I had to pay a govern poor tax??? I asked him for a number I can contact him at and of course I had to act NOW couldn't call back. Only 500 people had this chance. So he told me to pull the website www.my2012vacation.com while I spoke to him. I did but I was already looking for review and couldn't find any. Also on this website it states noting about the suvery or the $118.00. The website looked like a bonofide Caribbean Cruise website, no links to cruises and no contact information. I refused to pay and told him I don't give my information over the phone as I was trying to hear what was going on in his end of the phone someone just grabs the phone & says he's the "manager" and will help me get this deal. I explained to him the same and he tell me he doesn't understand he showed me the website that when I knew it was Scam. The manager got upset when I told him I didn't want it and hung up. I feel this was a scam and the website was a fraud as well. Everyone please beware of these calls.
