Old unedible produce! - Produce Dept

Safeway on Tice Valley Blvd in Walnut Creek mostly sells to senior citizens who live close by in a Retirement Communitiy of about 10,000 people (Rossmoor). For a lot of them, this is the only place they can grocery shop. Safeway is taking full advantage of this. The store is really old, uncared for and sometimes dirty (which I complained to upper managment about before). Today while in the produce dept. I was appalled at many of the very old and half dead vegetables for sale. They do not respect the elderly and show it by the poor quality items for sale that they offer. I took several pictures just because this is not the first time I've seen this. I thought maybe the local news might like to see how much they care about the older citizens of the community by the quality and care of this store. It really disgusts me. They are building new stores all over. One in Concord just opened and Pleasanton, but this one, they don't even remodel.
