Alagasco is ridiculous!

Our bill was due on 26th and apparently, Alagasco had the time to come out to the house and shut off the gas on the morning of the 27th. We contacted them on the 27th and paid the bill in full and a $75 reconnection fee. They said they could not come out for 2 more days to cut the gas back on. They said they would call us when being dispatched or out in that area. They came out first thing in the morning, in which my husband and I both work and were not at the house. When we called them they ssaid they could not come back to hte area until the following business day and it would be an ALL day appointment and they can not guarentee a call. They said that they are very busy and don't know when they can do it. This is crazy, just like them, we have to work too! They seem to have plenty of time to come out the day after the due date to cut off the gas, but now they can not cut it back on! Alagasco doesn't care whatsoever about customer service since they are the only company we have and that is ridiculous! If Alagasco is that busy, then maybe they need to hire more people or need to stop taking contracts in areas that they can not service promptly. If I were to call in a gas leak they could come out immediately. We paid all our money and a stupid service fee and they still can't seem to get out there... This is truly crazy!!!
