I rented a vacation home for a weekend, after our stay the agreement or contract states that I would receive my security deposit back within 14 days. After several attempts to collect it, the owner states the check was mailed, he knows we never received it and now ignores all request for this refund. Now I had to file a small claims suit to get it back 3 months later.
