Long term relationship cat, injured while playing with other cat, took to vet for xray, afraid of broken knee or hip. Staff pleasant, as usual, I am a customer there for over a year... Dr. States he will take my baby for xray, and due to my financial status, i ask about fee for xray., quoted $130, stunned and amazed by the gall of the charge, I vocalize my concerns, I work for a very busy, well respected orthopedic practice, the average xray price is $60, for a human knee or hip. I feel disrespected and taken advantage of. And although I do think at 1 time the doctor cared about animals and owners, now its just his bottom line! Thanks you for nothing. I got no answers and will need to continue with another costly visit in a week, dr says too swollen to give any info.
