Tri County Animal Clinic / adam Stout Dvm my dog had difffuclty breathing and they held him down till he went into cardiac arrestand died

Please dont take your pets here. I took my 4year old dog to them to see why he had been breathing heavy for 3 days. They listened to his chest, did a heart worm test (neg), then wanted to do 2 chest xrays i said ok. The vet came back with 1 xray of the chest and 1 xray of his stomach? Vet said stomach was fine but he had fluid outside his lungs but nothing inside. He suspected he had congestive heart failure. The vet decided to treat with meds. For breathing, water retention, antibotics. I agreed. He left and came back and said my dog wanted to see me so i followed him back. WHEN i walked in my 100 lb baby was being held down on the exaim table On His Chest and Stomach. Within 20 seconds of me walking in the room my baby took his last breath. The vet attemped 2 times to draw fluid from his chest with a needle. When my baby stopped breathing he began to try to resussatate him, I HAD TO LEAVE! The problem i have with this clinic is that there was no reason my dog should have been held down to get an xray of his stomach, the vet told me he even Passed out on them, and he certenly shouldnot have been held afterward. THIS is a very very docile dog all he was trying to do was sit up to breath. Never will i take another pet to a vet and allow them to be out of my sight. The way I see this in the vet put my pet through very unneceary treatment that resulted in his death, AND above all he expects me to pay him to try to resusatate him. That Will Never Happen!!!
