We purchased what we thought was 3 OEM licenses for MO Office 2007 for our office for about $240.installed and ran fine on three machines until Tuesday, when a mobo crapped out. After swapping the hard drives into another shell machine we had and getting XP to boot up and start, MS Activation crap appears and limits functionality. So we try to activate it again and boom, product key has been blocked. Apparently we got a MSDN key that was not supposed to be sold. Guy at MS told us, however, that OEM and retail copies of their software are good for installs on 2 machines, so we used a legitimate copy we had on hand to fix the issue after uninstalling the illegal copy.
