The trial version of Office 2010 that came with my computer expired so I purchased what I thought was a product key from Discount Software Source. There website says "If you are looking to purchase just the activation key to activate your program and do not require the download please ignore the download link in the email confirmation after ordering". They also say that they have a "30 Day Customer Satisfaction Guarantee". After purchasing and entered the activation key in the Office activation window it said "This is not a valid Office Product key". I tried to call them but, even though it was about 3:15pm PST on Thursday and they say there office hours are M-F 9:00am - 7:00pm EST, I got a message that said something like "all our agents are busy helping other customers or you have called after our business hours...". The message went on to say essentially to go to chat support on there website. I went to chat support and the support representative, supposedly someone named Kendle, said there activation key only worked with there downloaded software. I was on a mobile hotspot on a boat at sea so only a very limited amount of internet data I could use. I explained this to her and all she said was I had to download there software. I said if there product key wouldn't activate my software I wanted a refund. She said "no refund, download our software". I believe she was not fluid in English as her answers were very short poor grammar. After about half an hour of trying to get a refund, it was obvious at this point they could not give me a Product Key that would activate my software, she finally said "if you don't have any high limit data its not our problm arrange the good limit data internet and then download the software" (exact quote, copied & pasted here).
Certainly and obviously not what they said I was getting and not honoring there satisfaction guarantee.
