I went to buy a new graphics/video (EVGA GeForce GTX 570 HD) card at CompUSA store at address 17641 Biscayne Blvd, Aventura, FL 33160. Store manager: Juan Perez. Store # (305) 914-1400. I bought a new card, the box was sealed in a clear plastic wrap like most products are sealed today, also there was a stickers with ID numbers on both the box and the card itself witch you can compare when you look at the back of the box witch has a little window cut out so you can see the sticker on the video card. Since both sticker numbers match and the box was sealed I had no worries that everything was legit. When I got home and teared the clear plastic wrap of the box I saw that one side where you would have to break factory seal was already broken so anyway I opened the box and took out the card. I was shocked to see that the product inside was not what it supposed to be.in fact the card inside was totally different, made by different manufacturer, and with my knowledge the card was 6 years old and retail priced at around $50. I rushed back to the store, told them exactly what had happened, one thing they did is to check if this product was returned back to them, but their record shows it wasn't. So after that, basically what they told me is that they can't help me anymore. They gave a number to call the manufacturer (EVGA.com) and deal with them, so I did call them, provided all the info and everything I had. After some time they called me back and told that's impossible for someone switching the product and then shipping to retail stores. Now I'm in dead end with both parties refusing to help. I'm left with minus almost $400 and no video card.in my personal opinion this scam happened at the CompUSA store where someone switched the cards and the ID stickers and then sealed the box back, only thing they couldn't do is seal back the original factory seal. At this point I have lost all my hopes in getting a new card, I just have to move on.
