Received a text message of numbers and deleted it, later found a strange charge on my phone bill, discovered it was a text scam in which people get a text message and if they do not respond to it, the sender will bill them. I am not sure how this is legal, it would make sense if you had to respond to verify they can bill you, but this seems really shady that they can just send out messages to random numbers and bill them without actual consent.
