Electronics and household app.
Early in December, I received a text message on my phone telling me my "future mates name". Several minutes later I got another one with a horoscope. A few hours later another "Future mate name" text message was received. The next day another horoscope arrived but this time there was a "unsubscribe" message along with it. It said to cancel the service, text back "Cancel". I did text back a cancel message as I did not want these messages. The messages then stopped.
I just got my cell phone bill and they added $5.99 to $9.99 for each of those text messages. I do not know how they got my number or how they were able to send me text messages without my knowledge or consent and charge me for each one. I called my cell provider and disputed these charges. To insufre it won't happen again, I had my cell provider remove text messaging from my service. This hopefully will eliminate these types of charges from hitting my bill.
I do not know who mqube is or how they got my number. I am the only one that uses my cell phone and I do not text or download from my phone. Be alert next time you get a text message. It seems to easy for these companies to send unsolicited messages and charge you for each one.
