They send you a check for $3980 saying lottery winning. Do not deposit. I contacted the issuing bank and they advised that there are multiple complaints and that the checks are not real. The scam is to get you to deposit the check, they then have access to your account making various unauthorized debits to your personal account.
If you receive do not deposit, contact First Niagra Bank Customer Contact Center at 1-800-421-0004 to report.
