Miscellaneous

We own a 2003 Toyota Tundra. It is VERY badly rusted. There is a recall to fix some portions of the under body rust. When we took the truck to our local Toyota dealer we were told that we didn't qualify for the recall because the sections that had rusted through were not covered by the recall and the section that was covered was not fully rusted through.in the meantime, it's a case of dominoes where all this under body rust has caused damage to several other systems. From what we have been told, most dealers are feeling pressured by the company to avoid recall repair so they can remain in good standing with Toyota. Let's face it, if there is that much rust on so many of their trucks - the trucks were not well made, and the recall repairs are just a big scam since only a lucky few get them. At this point, we don't have many options. So, we will just trade in that old rust bucket truck and end up with only pennies on the dollar for it. Guess what - my next vehicle will NOT be a Toyota! I will NEVER, EVER buy another Toyota. Toyota only pretends to stand by its product. I urge everyone to take note of what happened to me and think VERY carefully before you do business with this company.
