Miscellaneous

I received a phone call at 10 am o 3/17 from Credit Card Services stating that since I have paid my credit card bills on time for the last 6 months I was eligible for a reduction on my interest rate. A red flag went up, but the sales person had me speak with the Supervisor: Eric Hamet ID#83 phone 1-888-311-0279 (busy when dial). I gave him my three credit card numbers, Eric stated someone would get back to me with the reduced rates. 10 minutes later someone called and said that over the next 14-15 months my interest rates on 3 credit cards would be reduced by $3,200.00. On my next bill I would see a fee of $1,240.00 but dont be alarm because I would be paying $10-20 which I would not see. I told the person I did not want to proceed with this offer because of the fee. He hung up the phone on me, when I went back to call the phone numbers that the services called me from I could not get through. I immediately called the 3 credit card company explained what happed, they cancelled the credit cards.
