A women called me with a heavy accent and said I won a gift card from Walmart for $100.00 and that the (vouchers) were good for a year and free. Now, I wondered as at first, she said a 100.00 gift card, which then became vouchers, I said thanks but, no. Then later I notice this pending charge on my cc for 6.95, so I called my bank and explained my situation. I am taking a new cc now, the old one is void. My problem is how they get your info.in the first place, and eventually was told after doing my own research, that your name, info., etc, gets sold to companies and they then try to rip you off by confusing you with offers and such if they call. I am glad I was smart enough to catch this but, think of all the elderly and others that don't what a hassle for them. The 6.95 is now something else pending at my bank but, it can't go through now as acct. Closed
