Complaint Description:

The coach for learning real estate investment has failed to complete teaching me and has disappeared. He does not answer my emails or telephone messages. The coach's name is Vaughn V Milliron from the Strategic Market Development. I had paid the Institute of Wealth a bank transfer of $10,644 on August 2 for his coaching services. Discovercard informed me that since it was a bank transfer they have no way of recovering the money since they mailed a check. The agreement was that Mr. Milliron would coach me until I made back my entire investment. Not only did i not make a penny, but Mr. Milliron would frequently disappear for two or three weeks at a time — meaning he ignored my emails and telephone calls and missed his coaching sessions. Now he has disappeared for over seven weeks. We were supposed to have another coaching session about 7 weeks ago. I have tried emailing him and leaving messages on two different telephone numbers without any response. I have tried calling two other coaches who work with him. I have left messages and neither one has returned my calls. The only excuse for such behavior would be if Mr. Milliron died or is in a coma. Otherwise, I can only conclude that this has been a scam. I want my money back. Even if this person would reawaken and agree to work with me again, I could never trust this person. I have lost complete confidence in his trustworthiness and in his being a reliable person.

My Desired Resolution:
If this was a scam, I would like a complete refund. If this was due to any other reason, such as the coach died or is in a coma or just negligence, I would settle for a refund of $9,000.

Thank you for listening to my complaint. If you could take legal action that would be great. If you cannot perhaps you could direct me to the appropriate Salt Lake City attorney.
