Ripoff offered something it doesn't deliver Online

Miscellaneous

I made the mistake of falling for it. They delivered an email saying that someone had posted that they had information about me. They were very convincing, showing that this person's identity was protected by their system, that this person had a "professional" relationship with me, and that this person knew me "very well". Well, of course, I wanted to know what was being said—particularly since I've just finished a year of grad school and am in the midst of changing careers!

So I tried to contact this "member" to see exactly what info they had about me—I was directed to protect my identity by subscribing to their service. I was given an automatic "check" on any response and my own request for information that came forth in their system, relative to my email address. This has been two weeks ago. NEVER have I gotten a response from the "member" I contacted about the supposed info they had about me. I got several emails for the auto check in their system, with no results.

Suddenly, I'm not getting those anymore. When I tried to contact the site today, to request a refund, I was unable to access it in any way. Looks like its down. I'm going to keep trying. This is SUCH a ploy! In today's competitive market, people have to keep abreast of how they are perceived and what is said about them. They know that you will respond to this crap, of course! I feel like such a sucker.
