My mother recieved a letter in the mail with a check for $3,797.00 the check looked very real. I never recieved anything like this and I believed it was real. She said she's recieved a letter from them before and had a feeling it wasn't real. So I decided to look it up and found you guys. The letter states there was a sweepstakes that she had been approved for a lumpsum of $28,500.00 in cash.
It says that they do not deal with the public directly and all she'd have to pay is ONLY $2,997.32. What a scam! No one fall for this because if it wasn't for her gut feeling I would've deposited that check.
