CateringTruckking.com Beware of this Repeat Con Artist!

I contacted Anthony Restivo after seeing his ad on ebay classifieds and Cateringtruckking.com. I made an offer on a lunch catering truck. He accepted. I followed his instruction to wire $7500 into his bank account. Within a few days, I received the title, and the Bill of sale to the truck.

Within a week, I arranged to have a transporter to drive the 900 miles to pick the truck up and deliver it to me. The transporter made arrangements for the day and time with Anthony Restivo. Mr Restivo did not show up to release the truck, instead he continued to text, stating that he was on his way. After spending the night in front of Mr. Restivo's place of business, and waiting waiting over 20 hours for Mr. Restivo to show up, the transporter left empty handed.

I made several attempts to call Restivo. He wold not answer my calls, nor did he answer the calls of the dispatcher who attempted to make arrangements for another pick up date/time. After 5 days, he finally answered my text where I asked that he be available to release the truck on the next evening. He responded to me that he would need a 24 hour notice. My response was, "How can anyone give you a notice when you won't any my or the dispatcher's phone calls?" He did not answer.

It became evident that i would have no choice but to hire a repossession recovery service to take possession of the truck, which involved the assistance of the Rhode Island Police Dept. This service cost me an additional $400.

After receiving the truck, I find that it is inoperable, which is in contradiction to the ad which stated that the truck runs great and has a new transmission.

This guy must be stopped, as authorities informed me from Rhode Island that I am the fourth victim that has reported him for this same thing in a short period of time. His last known alias was lunchboxking.com. He has moved several times in the last several years. Beware! This guy is a heartless crook!
