I purchased a truck from Anthony Restivo via ebay classifieds and his website Cateringtruckking.com. Located in Rhode Island. I sent him $7500 via his bank account. He did send me the title and bill of sale promptly. However, when the transporter that I sent to Rhode Island attempted to obtain the truck, he would not release it. Prior arrangements were made to pick the truck up. Anthony restivo agreed to be there at 8am that morning. He did not show up, and continued to text my transporter telling him that he was on his way. After waiting there for an entire 20 hours, my transporter left. I made several phone calls to Mr. Restivo in attempts to obtain the truck I purchased. He would not answer my calls. I did finally reach him via text 5 days later to inform him that I had another transporter that would be coming the following day. He responded, saying that he needed at least a 24 hour notice. It became evident to me that he had no intention of releasing the truck. I had to resort to paying an auto repossession company $400 to recover the truck. After receiving the truck, it is inoperable, but his ad promised that the truck drives great and has a new transmission. I was told by authorities there in Rhode Island that this has happened to at least 3 other consumers with this same person. So Buyer Beware! This guy, formerly known as thelunchboxking, and who sells under Johnnytime2121 with ebay, is a con artist as heartless as they come!
