Unfair Deposits Charge

My name is Gladys Ortiz, kissimmee, Fl 34743. I've been struggle financially since I've been diagnosted with Multiple Scleriosis and I losing time from my job because my condition.in 2011 I been paying my utilities late and i been disconnect 2 times in that year. On November 22 I went to Osceola Council of Aging and they pay me $358.82 for the month of November and they gave me a credits of $300.00 for the month of December.in December 19, i receive a "disconnect notice" for the amount of 603.11 dollars. I call nervously and very tense and the account representative told me that I'm ok with them that the system use to send those notice but they know that Council of Aging will pay. But they are charging some fee for deposit because I been disconnect more than one time in a year. I told them I feel that's charges are excesives and unfair.

On January i received a "disconnect notice" for the amount of $251.75. I thought they remove those charge becouse doesn't appear in this notice, so I pay th amount fo $251.75 on January 23. Now this month I receiced again a "disconnect notice" this time for the amount of $644.66. When I called today the account representative told me that I have to pay the deposit charge of $379.10 and the current month of 265.56. Why i think this is unfair? Because the deposits fee are extremely high and I feel they overcharging people taking advantege of their situation instead of help bring in relief because the financial situation that many others like me are confronting.

I recive foodstamp because my income how I can pay my rent and my utilities if on top of this my utility company punish me because last year for my finantial situation I been disconnet more than one time? I need somebody do something and stop the abuse this company is doing in people that are struggling and trying to overcome their actual situation. Thaks in advance. May God Bless you all.
