Miscellaneous

I was searching for jobs on Craigslist and came across on for a receptionist. I sent my resume and received an email from 2 different people stating they will need a copy of my credit score. One asked that I not send the report, while the other asked for me to email it to her. Because I have been looking for a job so much lately, I sent my credit report to the one that asked for it. After I did so, I read a scam alert from CL and decided to Google for more information. I then came across this site and saw that someone had posted the exact same email as the one I was sent!

I appreciate you e-mailing us and taking the time to submit your resume. Just in case the job listing wasn't understandable, the tasks of this open position are the following:

- Employees will be screening phone calls and cataloguing messages whenever applicable.
- Employees will be scheduling the business group meetings, and completing errands for the company for things such as purchasing supplies and making bank deposits (you will be given a company vehicle for the duration of business hours).
- When you are completing errands, you will in addition be given use of one of our company debit cards for all company needs.

You appear more than experienced for our job opening and more so than the other 25 applicants we accepted resumes from. I am interested in taking the next stage with you. Though, before I am able to schedule a final interview, my company will require that you acquire an up to date (past 15 days) credit score. We have begun doing this because regrettably we have had a number of bad incidents with previous employees taking advantage of having access to our company debit cards.

Both the HR department and I prefer that you use this site to acquire your score as this site is offering the check at zero expense for the score (unlike other websites). We also discovered that this websites scores consistently report back the most exact and accurate information, and they are the most consistent trusted sources on-line.

As soon as you submit the requested information, the site will offer to you your unobjective score. Then, you are required to e-mail me the shown credit score, a phone number that you can be contacted, and your availability schedule to plan an interview. I ask you to not e-mail me the whole report, as it will have confidential information. If you supply a lower than anticipated credit score, it will never stop you from obtaining a job with us. I had a quite poor score when I started working here and I never had a problem. If you do not want to complete an up to date credit score, regrettably our company will expect that I move on to my second choice.

Myself, I desire to fulfill this position with a fresh friendly face and I anxiously await to your prompt response.

Have a terrific Thursday.

Regards,
April Hayden
