PODS must think their customers are stupid - Customer Service, Billing

They expect me to pay without an accurate invoice. They expect me to give them permission to suck money out of my account. They expect me to continue with the existing deal and they’ll fix it later. Yeah right. PODS doesn't even have the right size container on my invoice, and I told them that days ago. PODS website won't let me make a payment online, yet I keep getting late notices, I told them that days ago too. PODS won't do anything but Automatic Payments, though their rep told me they would do E-check when I first set this up and did set it up that way (or so I thought.) Luckily, they didn't even do that. Now they want an Automated Payment agreement.

After suggesting that we just undo the deal, No Harm, No Foul, I was told to let them pick up the full container and they would fix it later (are you kidding me?) Then I was threatened with more charges for cancelling.

They could have fixed this by just reassuring me that all would be taken care of, or if they had followed their own policies. Or, a lot of other ways I have listed in a draft letter to them.

Don't get me wrong, until I spoke with the senior rep, all the reps seemed to be genuinely trying to fix this and were friendly and courteous (The system apparently won't let them.) Let’s just say the senior rep wasn't as friendly as the others.

Wow, as I am writing this, I just got an automated phone call, thanking me for my past business and informing me of Past Due balance, only a couple of hours after I last spoke with them. $316.89 because PODS can't or won't fix this.

Beware of any company whose only method of payment is automatic ACH or automatic credit card payments. If you do, get a reloadable credit card and keep the balance to only what you want to pay them. Good Luck!
