Several companies have wanted to recruit me as a trainer. I accepted with US Express wanting to see if a student learns easier on an automatic transmission. Packed and reported, that was at the beginning of the year, in January. Recruiter said, with your experience expect to go to a trainer's class for 3 days and then getting into a truck with a trainee. I am still waiting. I was sent to the trainee's training. No assignment - No assignment since I've been waiting for that 'immediately you will start training." I am under their roof in the middle of a city, I do know where training takes place, however, waiting to work. One month waiting is stressful. Can I wait two months? Do they care to add to the training crew as they are short of experienced drivers willing to train? I'll be back to update. Meanwhile, write and let me know who has better recruitment policies.
