Unprofessional, Rude, and Incompetent

To whom this may concern:

I am requesting a refund because I feel that Ive been overcharged for filing fees. I visited your Brook Road location on 12/20 for the Holiday Cash Loan. I was approved for $200 and was told I would be receiving my return in the amount of $2269 on 1/26. I received a phone call from your Newport News office on 1/25 and was told the check would be available on 2/3. On 2/3, I returned to the Brook Road location in hopes of picking up a check. The check was not there and I was told to come back on 2/6. I went back on 2/6 and again it was not there. I finally received the check on 2/8 in the amount of $1405. I do not understand why the check was for only $1405 when I was told $2269. That is $864 that is not accounted for. I asked the manager why that was and he seemed like he was confused. He did not show me the fee sheet and he said the $200 loan was deducted from that. That is still $664 that is not accounted for. I went into the office again on 2/9 and requested a copy of the fee sheet. I see where I was charged for a Refund Anticipation Advance which is 24-48 hours. I DID NOT receive a refund within 24-48 hours!

When I first filed on 12/20, I was not aware of these outrageous fees nor was I given a copy of anything that I signed. I feel that your company is NOT professional and are ripping people off! The phone number I was given for the Brook Road location was to a fax machine and the call center is no help. I have filed taxes with Jxxxx Hxxxx for the past 7 years and have never encountered such nonsense. I thought I would give you guys a try and it was a very bad mistake. I have done some research and see Im not the only one that has been overcharged. You all had a similar incident in District Heights, MD.

I will be contacting the local news station in regards to this. You all are misleading and do not seem to care how this affects people that has filed with you. I have enclosed a copy of the fee sheet along with the complaint form. I have wasted a lot of time and gas going back and forth to the Brook Road location, which the staff there is absolutely no help. You all have posters up throughout the office, Walk in and leave happy. I am definitely not happy; therefore I am requesting a full refund for filing fees.
Sorry, allowing you to give a competitors name would instigate others to just file against their competition, to only come back later to suggest their company your comments on this policy are welcome!
