I am a recent graduate and I recieved an email through "Careerbuilder" (later I find out it really wasn't Careerbuilder after contacting Careerbuilder by phone). So I am all exited I got this new at-home job that requires a home telephone line, laptop, bank account, etc. Next, I wait for instructions on my so-called training. This is all taking place through thier very sophisticated looking back-office system. My first job for the was to transfer funds from my PayPal account, from a purchase some guy made on Ebay from a nonexistent item, and transfer these funds to my bank account. So not realizing I am a victim to fraud I go to the bank to wire the money to two different people but luckily the bank and PayPal caught on and help me to understand what was really going on. Everthing seemed so legit but live and learn and thank God no large amount of money was lost in my case and the guy who purchased the non-existent item (which were supposed to be thousands of dollars of coins) is getting is money back too. Some may have not been so lucky. I mean I talked to these liers over the phone and everything! Even did an interview process over the phone and online. Not good enough for me anymore! Only face-to-face interviews. This is a lot of money people are losing and this horrendous crime needs to stop! I think that more awareness on this topic could help put people like this away... And make them pay!!
