A charge for $10.81 showed up on my AT&T bill this month. I never authorized this charge. I don't know how a company can just have charges applied to my phone bill without my authorization. I got a random text that said to enter my password for a fun fact text daily. I ignored it. Didn't do anything. Immediately after I got another text that said welcome and a third text with some random fact about rodents. At that point I replied STOP and didn't receive anything further. I didn't think much of it all until my bill arrived and had a charge on it. Just to be clear... I did not request this text, did not enter any password on a website, and definitely did not authorize any charge to my account.
