Very similar to the story by klranchman said they would be able to help us get a home modification loan. Assured us there were "no restrictions" They had said DO NOT Send the mortgage company any money, do not talk to them AND send them NO money as well BIG MISTAKE. They dragged the modification out for nearly 6 months, mid stream of it all the switched "councilors" re tell the story and send more paperwork in. All for what? For them to get the mortgage company to offer me an INSANE repayment plan with a HUGE down payment. Their words... You should just claim bankruptcy or think about a "deed in leiu" or a short sale. Could have used the money to file chapter 13 and that could have stopped everything. Thanks Stuart Starr you should be so proud!!! So much for boasting being a member of the BBB!!!
