This company said they would be able to help us get a home modification loan. They dragged the modification out for nearly 6 months, and now we found out our home is going up for sale in 3 weeks! We were called by Starr Law group on the 23rd of August; telling us that the mosification was denied on August 19th and we should think about a "deed in leiu" or a short sale. On Saturday, August 27th we received a notice that our loan company is selling the home in public auction on September 23rd and that it was registered for public sale on August 17th with the courts/county. Starr Law Group stole our $2500.
