Crooks Won't Give Back Deposit

We gave this company a deposit on one of their rentals for $725.00. We had not even completely moved in yet when the house was broken into and our tv was stolen. When we called the police, they said this particular house had been broken into several times in the past. The locks on most of the windows and sliding glass doors are broken. When we turned on the kitchen sink, water under the sink began spraying everywhere. There is a pile of garbage in the backyard that they promised to clean up and is still there. We decided not to move in this unsafe dump and told the company we want our deposit back. They have refused. They are slum lords and crooks!
