Bad Business

For those in the DFW area (or any where in TX for that matter) beware of Smart Choice Construction. After what I thought was suffice due diligence, they took me to the cleaners. While I didn't pay them in full, I lost money/time ($22k/2months) on work that was not completed. When I locked in another contractor, I got hit with a lot more due to the fact we had to redo their shoddy work. Since my experience with them, there have been several reports from others that have experienced the same type of situation with them. I am currently in line with other creditors to hopefully recoup some of our losses. They have filed bankruptcy as of the summer of 2011.
