Miscellaneous

I met what appeared to be a nice man on match.com, supposedly from Long Beach, CA... He seemed sincere and we corresponded by mail/email/phone for 2-3 weeks... I never met him because he wen on a business trip and his son needed a laptop from Apple... He asked if I would go to the Apple store and send the gift card to his son. Like a dummy I went there, thinking it would be less than $1000.00 but the one he wanted was almost $3000.00.. So in for a penny in for a dime or whatever the adage is. At that point I got it and sent it by Fedex... After that we corresponded for a while and always in the back of my mind I was not trusting him. The bad thing and how I got hooked, he used quotes from the bible and pretended to be a strong christian man and I am a bible reading christian so I was vulnerable. He was delayed returning home and he asked again for money. Again with a story that they wouldn't cash his travelers check without upfront money. This time I didn't buy in to it... Be careful he calls himself Mark C Rohman. His son Daniel Rohman, born in Bari, Italy. Home in Long Beach and Colorado Springs. He has an accent. Could be italian or as I listened perhaps even african. White man I would guess.
