Received pop-up on my computer saing that Windows Security Alerts were turned off and that my computer was infected with trojans. I was instructed to activate the companies antivirus program payable by credit card to clear out the infection. Later, by checking on Google, I discovered this was a scam.

This not only a scam. IT IS A VIRUS! Windows Security had to clean the system, took 18 hrs to remove the virus. Do not install this program, regardless of what the "pop-ups" tell you!

My computer, upon sufring the net, had a window pop up that said my computer was infected with spyware and security shield would not let me reboot or allow mcaffee to run to find the source of the pro
