I have a side business with advertising on Craig's list. This guy named Tom Wallace sent me a few emails inquiring as to how much it would cost to perform services on his vehicle to get it ready for him to come back home after being on assignment in England for 6 months. So I quoted him a price and gave him my home address to send the check to. He sent me a $2,500.00 check, which was very odd because my charges were only $541.86. Another email followed explaining that his accountant had messed up and sent me the shipping fee for the car as well. After Googling his name and email address, I found that luceyfolks61@gmail.com is notorious for scamming people on craig'slist.
