Miscellaneous

I ordered the free trial products which cost me £5.97 and £2.95 postage and packing. There were no printed details stating a trial period and no mention anywhere in the application stating that monthly payments were to be taken from the same credit card with monthly deliveries of each of the products. I ordered the free trials on 21 December but they did not arrive until 30 December and then on 7 January I find that 2 payments have gone from my account one for £74.95 and one for £79.99. I have not received anymore deliveries to date. I only wanted to try the creams and to be honest they are nothing special and I would not re-order anyway, especially at these prices. If I had known there was a trial period I would have sent it back by return. On instructions from my credit card company I have emailed them immediately to cancel the contract and request refunds and I have maxed out my credit card so further payments can't be made at the moment. My credit card company is well aware of the scam and have been very helpful, they say they have to reply and refund within 10 days and if they don't reply then they will take over the dispute. Thank God I paid with a credit card and not a debit card! I hope this helps others I feel so sick that I have been caught out, I'm usually so careful and get reviews on all new companies on the net, but because it was a free trial for less than a tenner I didn't bother.
