Greatly disappointed

Last evening my husband took me out for valentines. What a bad experience we had, the food was good. The bad service ruined the whole evening. Does it really take ten minutes to get a beverage? When the waitress told us she was still waiting, we heard that she had closed five nights in a row and was so happy someone else had to bartend this evening and than she laughed. I had just got off from work and really wasn't amused. She never came back and asked if we wanted another drink until the food was gone, so what was the point, we had been there a hour and fifteen minutes by than. My husband really likes your food, but we will probably think twice before going to applebees again. We are not rich people, work hard for our money and very seldom treat ourselves to a night out. I've never done one of these before, but really thought you should know. Janice Cleven
