I made a booking for the Leynbaan Villa, Galle, Sri Lanka on Hostelworld. The date was 28 Dec and the Reservation Number was 55627-24169472. Hostelworld took a $1.30 as a deposit and I was to pay $11.30 on arrival for a room with a share bathroom. When I arrived the hostel knew nothing about my booking and tried to charge me $35 for the room. As it was peak season and I did not fancy looking around for a room I ended up paying $30. I could not find any way to contact Hostelworld by e-mail to complain. You have to phone at your own expense.
