Word Whomp Letters Too Slow and Time Runs Out Before Finishing

I have been paying to play this game and for some reason the letters are very slow and it is very frustrating to win a game. Time runs out before I can make up all the words. Nine out of ten times I make all the words. Please let me know what is going on with this game. Thank you.
