My wife's AMEX was charged the Euro equivalent of $194 and Amex denied the charge and immediately contacted us. Since we'd never charged anything to the French Railroad AMEX immediately cancelled the card and issued another with a new account #. Thanks to Amex's quick response we never lost any $. It's a mystery who made the charged or how they got the #. FYI we're in S.E. Connecticut.
