I was contacted by A gentleman claiming to be from
Loanfrom Phone.com, who stated that I qualified for a Pay Day Advacnce. He stated that I would receive information concerning my loan in my email, and that I qualified for a 2500.00 line of unsecured credit, after I gave hime my information. I told the gentlemen that I could not fund the $99.00 processing fee for the line of credtit. After speaking with him, I logged onto the website that he advised me to log on to. I called the contact number, and a very nice woman explained to me that they do not offer pady day loans in the state of CT at this time. I called the number that I was called from. I was lucky to get someone on the line.
I told the gentleman that I did not wish to have the $99.00 deducted from my account, and that I would forward his number to the Attorney general's office of CT, and have criminal charges brought up against him. The gentlemen stated that my order would be cabcelled, and he hung up. I will contact my bank and make them aware of the situation.
