Do Not Get Target Credit Card - Credit card

Do not get the Target Credit card! They are very difficult to deal with and do things that no other credit card I have ever had did. My biggest complaint is that if you make a payment they consider "large" (in our case $1000) they will hold your money and not give you available credit for over two weeks. So, even though they HAVE your money they will not give you any available credit for over two weeks! My bank called this "shenanigans" and "selfish behavior" by Target. We have never had a returned payment or any other problem with them. They say they do this to everybody. When I told them my family of 5 usually spends about $1000 per month at Target for groceries, toiletries, etc., and that I would take my business elsewhere (credit card and shopping!) they did not seem to care. Beware!
