Well, in addition to the hundreds of reports filed about this "company", I will add another for good measure. I am posting solid advice below.

First off, I just received this fake offer in the mail. How absurd. I knew it wasn't real right away, and got on here to see if others actually received this as well... Many have. I assumed I was a recipient because I sign up for many miscellaneous things on the internet. Ripoff internet pironas share your personal email and addresses with one another all the time.

On that note, let me share a little advice on how to detect any postal mail or email scams in the future.

First off, you can get online and verify addresses and emails. Check these things out by attempting to contact the people first, checking out their website, or mapping the supposed address.

Next, when visiting the website, and/or reading any materials from them, look for signs of validity. For example, they would have a security badge to protect consumer info., they may be registered with the BBB or similar agency, and thiry site won't be bogged down with advertisements (unless associated with their business). Only not-for-profits, like this site, would have a ton of random ads.

The most important thing to do is look for flaws like mis-spelled words, all capitals in bold (real companies are not that abrasive), and weird layouts on documents and in emails.

Lastly, real well-to-do businesses don't make you pay for credit, unless it is a security deposit. I know you are supposed to be paying for a membership... I know this... But my point is that their offer to refund it is a sign of ripoff. How is it a membership, if they are giving it right back when you buy something? Think about this. There are things that normal people don't have to pay for up-front... Ever! I even had a secured credit card that charged the deposit to the card, I didn't pay upfront.

The idiots who actually think they can rip people off like this, are typically just that... Idiots! Now, that you know what to look for, don't be out-smarted by these people. If you have, I'm sure is was an honest mistake on your part.

I am not smarter than most, but I speak from experience. When I was younger I lost hundreds of dollars to phony businesses like these, because they were too good to be true. Learn from me!!! If you are in dier need of credit, try Capital One or HSBC they are legit corporations, actually they are affiliated, and have many card offers for less than perfect credit.
