Beware of NewsMax!

On August 8, I was charged $4.95 for a trial service by NMX*FINANCE INTEL RPT on my credit card. On August 15, I returned the cancellation form by U.S. Postal Mail,

On Sep 28th, I saw a charge for $49.00 by NMX*FRANKLN PROSPERITY on my credit card, so I called again to cancel.

On Oct 27th, I saw a purchase for $99.00 by NMX*GOLD STOCK ADVISOR on my credit card, so I sent an email to cancel.

On December 7, I saw a purchase for $99.00 by NMX*FINANCE INTEL RPT on my credit card, so I called again to cancel.

They will bill my credit card and will continue to bill for each item annually until I cancel successfully.

This is from the email from Christopher Ruddy, CEO of Newsmax Media and Moneynews, "I want to encourage you to use these FREE trial periods to your FULL advantage over the next few months, and then decide whether they are right for you."

"If you don't think these publications will help you as an investor, then feel free to cancel them when you receive your renewal notice in the mail."

"And no worries if for some reason you miss your renewal notice or forget to cancel it out, just call us at 800-485-4350 or shoot us an e-mail at customerservice@newsmax.com before the free trial subscriptions expire."

"And even if those dates pass you by, you can still cancel at any time for a full refund of the unused portion of the newsletter."

They have ignored all of my attempts to correspond via postal mail, email, and telephone. This was a free trial that I cancelled several times already. If nothing else I would like to block this merchant from making further charges on my card or get a new card issued if this cannot be done.

If this is happening to you too, please join the fight!
