Moving APT
Ben, Meyer Aviv, Sagev Humo wage theft, fraudulent sales tactics

Miscellaneous

I used to work for this company and I would advice you to ABSOLUTELY NOT MOVE WITH THIS COMPANY. You think finding no reviews means a good thing? WRONG - companies like these open for a little while and take peoples money happily... Until the bad reviews, BBB, and ripoff report catches up with them. So they close down and re-open under another name.

The office is run in a little room with 2 employees and they claim they are a national company, but really its the company owner subcontracting your move to other movers he is just starting to work with.

They charge more than other companies and claim that they do everything by the book and that they do everything by weight — but the field guys will try to get you on cubic feet and threaten to throw your stuff on the street if you do not comply. When they do weigh it - they do weight station tricks to charge you more money. Also dont forget all these extra charges that they tack on. For example long carry is usually for 75 feet and they say its complimentary, but they always trick the client and tell them its more so they start charging double. This is just one of the added charges you can expect on your move.

The 30% deposit you put down is a fee that the company takes to subcontract your move and the rest goes to the movers who decide to do it for the left over amount. These guys aren't making much off that, so they will happily up the price to make profit from you.

I am currently in a battle with the owner since he has not paid me for weeks of work, because I decided to not be his top sales agent anymore. I decided to leave the company, because I felt it was fraudulent and I dont think it is fair in this economy to rip people off. For that price its best to go to a larger company like MayFair or Atlas. The best advice I give to you is NEVER GO WITH A MOVING BROKER. Your sales agent might be all smiles and promising you they will be there every step of the way. On moving day they have no control and if they do speak up it comes with a consequence.

Maybe I am powerless, but I hope to get the word out that Meyer Aviv and Sagev Humo (AKA BEN the Dispatcher) and MovingAPT is a scam. They have bullied me, threatened me, and manipulated me. Meyer says he has all the money and power in the world and he laughs mockingly when I told him I would report him. They ripped me off and many clients - dont be a victim!
