I visited the Xtreme Recreation Infrared Saunas booth while at the Sonoma/Marin Fair in Petaluma California. They had 3 different models on display. I spoke with the "salesman" Tom O'Connor, who "sold" me their 2 Person Super Deluxe (TS-2) Unit for $1700.00. I sat in the unit with my friends, so I know the unit actually exists!
He said if I paid in cash I would get the "Sale Price" of $1700.00 (list price was $3,499.00) and that would include free delivery and a free roof cover (a $300 value). He gave me a receipt on site. He said I'd take delivery in "a couple of weeks". They cashed my $1700.00 check on 6/27. I tried calling Tom to find out when they would deliver my Sauna. Tom never returned my call. On 7/18 Saunas Today sent me an email "receipt" and said delivery would be 8/29. I have emailed (no reply) and tried to call the company and Tom several times only to hear that "the mailbox is full and to try again later". On 10/14, I Googled the company to find a site with other complaints, with stories exactly like mine. I filed my first complaint there. I want my money back and see they are charged with theft. They are criminals!!
