Paid 65.00 Arrangement Fee After Loan Text, Documents Never Came

I received a text message from Citi Financial saying I had been accepted for a loan and to ring the number above. The text message came through from a mobile number, 07719632121, and told me to finalize my application and quote aqua. It sounded genuine, so I gave them a ring and went through the whole process with them. I paid an arrangement fee of 65.00.

They told me the documents would arrive first class, and I still haven't received them. I rang them on Thursday and said I'd applied for a loan with them and paid the fee, and they hung up on me. I also rang the customer service number, which is 01614865914, and it came up as call barred.

This has really upset me because I thought it was genuine, and now I think I've been scammed.
