I had the same problem with Grant Assist as the other posts. I called my credit card company (Capital One), explained the situation, and the Capital One supervisor called Grant Assist, got Josh the Grant Assist supervisor with me still on the line, and she encouraged Josh to refund my fees and cancel my account. Josh agree to do that. That may be an approach to consider for others caught up in this scam.
