Miscellaneous

I was contacted by Microsoft Windows who told me that my online security was not effective enough and that I had thousands of viruses on my computer. They sold me Quick Heal Anti Virus and I was charged £66.90 for two years protection. Today, 1 November a warning popped up to say that the licence for this software was invalid and that it was being used by multiple computers. I contact the Microsoft help desk and was told that they could fix the problem but that I would have to pay for support which was £109.99 for one year. As I had already paid for the software I said that they should ensure that it worked properly and I refused to pay further charges. The help desk then declined to help me further that I am left with a computer that it unprotected.
