Several years ago I did have a doubleday book club membership. I did use it. Then I wanted to end it, so I sent in the card after I had ordered my required books and paid for them. After that I did not reaeive thei junk mail / book catalog. Then in late spring of this year they started coming again. Last month I got a note saying my time limit was about to expire and I needed to order books. I told them on the phone that I had sent in my card saying I quit and had not received mail for approx 2 years and they had recently started sending me mail again. I advised then UNLESS they could show me where I reenlisted again I was not paying or ordering. Now they send me a note saying they dont keep records after 6 months... Duh do you think i am the only person who has requested confirmation of reenlistment.
